Tyeson eagerly attended a myriad of courses and seminars, engaging with industry leaders in cannabis, natural farming, and soil sciences. As a co-founder of Kootenay Cultivar, he brings his wealth of experience and expertise to the forefront, contributing to the company's reputation for producing some of the most esteemed cannabis in the nation. Sandra Ramsden's journey from the Kootenays is shaped by a family legacy of cannabis culture and a deep-rooted passion for plants. Meeting Tyeson and Isaac ignited her enthusiasm, leading her to gain hands-on experience in cannabis cultivation and compliance.
With a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Conservation, Sandra's expertise extends beyond cannabis. An avid gardener with over 100 houseplants, she has a deep understanding of nutrients, soils, and entomology.
At KC, Sandra fosters a team atmosphere rooted in fun, happiness, and community, aligning with the company's vision. She looks forward to applying her skills and passion to elevate the local cannabis industry.
Jordan Osinchuk
LEAD GROWER
Originally from Ontario with a Background in mechanical engineering. My love for the outdoors led me to the mountains of BC. Working in the cannabis industry for 20 years developed into a passion that steered me to work with the team at KC. Working closely in the Veg/genetics Room with an emphasis on our integrated pest management program and pheno hunting, he keeps the next wave of plants going into our flower rooms dialed. Always learning and being humbled by this plant.
Peter Reed
QA
Rounding out the international flavour of the KC team, Australian/Canadian Peter Reed leads the QA department. Peter has had 12 years experience in cannabis cultivation and his attention to detail and seen him flow seamlessly into the QAP role. He is committed to continuing education to keep his skills and understanding in the Cannabis industry space sharp and well done.
As the first employee of KC, Peter brings an appetite for hard work, quality communication, compliance and fun to the workplace.
Outside of KC, Peter is a songwriter, musician and producer as well as an avid outdoorsman who loves nothing more than skiing, biking or canoeing his way through the great Canadian outdoors.
